If you are a big fan of Chinese food, then the Super Buffet on Highway 10 will be a super hit to you. They have a very large all you can eat buffet for under $10. It is very clean, and the workers are very polite. If you are not interested in eating in, you can also do take out. Their General Tso's chicken is to die for, as well as their cream cheese wontons. They offer such items as crab legs, chicken, pizza, and a dessert bar where you are sure to find at least 3 things you will want to try!
Home-style cooking is the name of the game for Brigette's Cafe, located right off of Division ave, on 37th Avenue. Inside you will find a quaint atmosphere with the vibrant scents of freshly baked pies and food. They greet you at the door and you get prompt service.
For upscale, fine dining, you would have to try out Anton's, which is located in Waite Park, right off of Division. The meals they serve here are top class. Set back from the road, you are guided through a large gate, which leads to the log cabin style restaurant. They have been in this area for more than 30 years.
Hemsing's Deli is a locally owned business located in downtown St. Cloud. At Hemsing's, you get sandwiches that are homemade, with fresh meats and vegetables. They offer a wide variety of soups, which can all be purchased to have at home. With an endless amount of bread, meat and cheese types, you can be sure to find a sandwich to satisfy your taste buds.
For pizza, Sammy's Pizza cannot be beat. In business since 1956, Sammy's has provided this area with top quality pizza. While it does have a larger menu that has things such as pasta, sandwiches, burgers and chicken, pizza still is it's number one seller. Located conveniently by Crossroads center.
Dutch Maid bakery on the east side of St. Cloud offers the best, by far, pastries. The sizes of the doughnuts are unbelievable and the taste is the only thing that beats it. Well worth your money if stopping by on your way to work, or to grab a few for others. Top line pastries are what they can offer you.
So next time you swing through St. Cloud, take time to visit the smaller places. Not only will you find the best food, but the best prices in town. Take time to taste a little slice of the Midwest!
