If you want to shop at a specialty office supply store; consider shopping at Office Max for your back to school supplies. During the week of August 8th, Office Max has some great bargains. This week sale features: Wood Ruler - $0.05 Paper Mate Pens - $0.10, #2 Pencils - $0.10, Paper 100 Sheets - $0.20, Four-Pocket Folders - $0.25 and Binders - $0.30. These sales often have limits of 3 or 6 per person, so you can pick up each of these items for multiple children. It's a great place to go when you have several children to shop for. Another nice perk of shopping at an office supply store is that you can pick up things that may not be on an official school list, but may be things you'll need for the school year. For example, computer paper, new ink cartridges or blank CD -RWs for projects. Office Max has special back to school items on sale each week during the back to school season.
If you are looking to save money on school supplies using rebates, you'll want to check out Staples. They offer an Easy Saver Rebate program where you can get a rebate back in the form of Staples store credits. I am a huge fan of easy saver rebates because they are easy! The program is explained in detail on their website and they offer ways for you to track your rebate. You can find out more about the easy saver rebate system here. During the week of August 8th, you can pick up scotch tape, sticky notes and highlighters all free after rebate. The store also features non rebate sales, like 120 sheets of filler paper for 1 cent!
The last place I suggest you go for inexpensive schools supplies is Target. They have great prices to begin with and have special back to school sales. This week they have post it notes for $1.00 a pack and post it has a printable coupon on the 3M website, which makes them free. They also have scotch tape on sale for .50 each. Target has an excellent selection of Crayola products, which makes it a good place to shop for the younger age students who need items like colored pencils and crayons.
If you check out these three stores in the Delaware County PA area, you'll be sure to save money on school supplies this year.
