Best Places to Hide Easter Eggs Outdoors: Get Creative when Having Your Annual Easter Egg Hunt This Year!

After the kids have opened their Easter baskets and are already chewing down on candy, the next thing they look forward to is the Easter egg hunt. While there is a lot of great places to hide eggs inside on Easter Sunday, having the egg hunt outside opens up a lot of new possibilities for hiding spots. Here are some of the best places to hide eggs on Easter Sunday.

Easy Spots: If there are younger children or children who have never really hunted for eggs before, there are plenty of easy spots for you to hide the eggs. One of the easiest is just by placing an egg in a patch of long grass. It hides it well enough for people not to see unless they have come up close and can get an easy snag. Another good spot in the children's playscape. If there are swings or other things in the backyard, just setting the eggs on that will make it easy enough to find. You can even get creative and make the egg look like it is swinging on a swing.

Hard Spots: To make the hunt a little more challenging, here are some spots that should be harder for people to find. If your house is equipped with a drainage pipe that comes all the way down from the roof, just tuck in an egg in the opening at the bottom for a tough spot for people to find. Another good spot is by placing eggs in tree branches or bushes around the house. When you are placing them in the bushes you may also find lost balls or other toys that went missing and have a really challenging spot.

Hardest Spots: If you really want to stump the people that are on the Easter egg hunt than there are a couple of things that you can do. The first spot is a car muffler. Just make sure that the car will not be used until the egg is found and an easy way of doing this is by keeping the keys with you until the hunt is over. Another spot, though a little bit deceiving is by actually burying an egg. Try keeping it looking like a hole was dug to give a little clue, but most likely no body will find that egg.

Be creative when hiding the eggs and use all of the elements in your yard that you can. If you have a dog house, put a couple in there, or even a bird house if it is not too high. Scope out your yard and plan everything accordingly for a great and fun egg hunt with children.
