Best Places to Live in the U.S. for a Woman with Severe Menopause
Living in the Front Range of Pikes Peak
Being a woman of menopause years myself, I know all too well how frustrating it is to be sitting back enjoying your day, when WHAM, out of the blue, you feel as though you are cooking from the inside out, and believe me, that's no fun at all. It comes on all of a sudden, and grows inside you like a blazing fire, until you are dripping with sweat, and can feel the heat radiating from your head! It can honestly get that bad! You truly feel as though it will drive you nuts!
Last year my family and I left the hot, humid, sticky, (had to paint a perfect picture for ya), Midwest, and moved to the Front Range mountains of Colorado, 8500 feet up in the Pikes Peak mountain range you'll find nice dry, cool air year round! The move came not a moment too soon, because this year the hot flashes have gotten so strong, you truly can feel extreme heat radiating from the top of my head! To me this makes the Pikes Peak mountain range the best place to live in the USA for any woman who is suffering with severe menopause!
Winters are nice and cold, with plenty of snow to keep those hot flashes at bay. Then the summer months come, only about 5 warm months up here, and the best part is, the air is dry, and the temps rarely reach more than 85 degrees, and night time is oh so nice and cool, with temps dipping down into the 40's.
It's wonderful up here in the Pikes Peak mountains, especially if your a woman in those horrid menopause years. I've lived in many places, but none as beautiful, or as "cool", as here in the Pikes Peak mountains of Colorado. This truly is the best place to live for a woman with severe menopause!
So, if you are tired of feeling like you are going to bake alive, head up to the Colorado mountains, and enjoy some nice cool air, and friendly people too!
