Best Places in Lower Eastern Michigan for Fall Color

Cheryl Kottke
In Eastern Michigan, the fall color is fast approaching its peak. The beauty of Michigan's fall color is unmatched in my opinion, with its maples, aspens, willows, and oaks the vibrant colors are breath taking. The golden yellows against the maples with their blazing reds, burgundies, yellows, and oranges create a sight beyond description. Vibrant shades of gold, deep hues of red, and the brilliant bronze are everywhere you travel this time of year. As of the third week of October, Lower Michigan's fall color is near peak.
