Best Places for an Outdoor Wedding

Selecting a Place for Your Outdoor Wedding Depends on the Type of Wedding and the Cost

Getting engaged on Christmas Eve is a popular tradition. Men strive to create a proposal that is memorable. The favorite is the engagement ring inside a glass of champagne or deep in the souffle served as the dessert. Almost immediately, the bride begins to plan the wedding. Where should it be held and who should be invited are their initial thoughts.

June Weddings Are Most Favored

June is an ideal month for an out-of-door wedding. The weather is warm, not excessively hot or raining. The scent of the wedding bouquet on the tables fills the air with love. Getting married on freshly mowed grass after the sun goes down will mark the wedding day as being 'perfect', and it will be remembered and talked about for years.

I was married in the month of June and the weather could not have been more perfect. I wore an ankle length full skirt wedding gown and a borrowed pink mink over the shoulder jacket. There was so much excitement inside of my apartment that I was rushed out of the house and forgot the pink mink shoulder length jacket.

Beach Weddings Are Gaining in Popularity

2.
Beach weddings are informal out-of-door sites for a wedding. The affair is relatively inexpensive to plan. The bride's wedding gown can be informal, formal or fancy beachwear. Food can be catered or cooked outdoors on the barbecue. Place a small dance floor on top of the sand for dancing. On extremely hot days, a dip in the ocean would create perfect ending to a beach wedding.

Backyard Weddings Permit Wearing Jeans

3. Backyard weddings can be formal or informal according to choice. Guests are told casual dress is appropriate. The bride and groom wear jeans or long skirts. A pathway of red carpeting or a narrow wooden plank can create the path for the walk to the alter. Plan a pot-luck-feast after the wedding and dance to the music on the CD player. This is an inexpensive fun way to get married especially when funds are tight. Make your own Cupcake Wedding Cake

Hot Air Balloon Weddings Offer Marriage in the Sky

4. Hot Air Balloon weddings are great for adventurous couples who love to fly. Guests are invited to partake in a light breakfast or lunch depending on the hour of the wedding. Immediate parents can witness your vows or simply enjoy a reception when the hot-air-balloon returns to the ground.

Lack of funds no longer is an excuse to cancel a wedding. Outdoor weddings can cost as much or as little as the budget allows. Use your imagination and create a wedding that will be one of a kind.

We wanted an outdoor wedding, but no priest would marry us outside of the church. It probably was a good thing since it poured the morning of our wedding.
