Both Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch are immensely popular among teenagers. Abercrombie is ridiculously overpriced for the quality of their clothes. Hollister isn't cheap, but you can make a purchase at Hollister and not feel like you have purchased an appealing, trendy item that will not fall apart. We've bought lots of Hollister. It seems to last and last and last. (Makes great hand-me-downs!)

Favorite Holiday picks from Hollister include jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. I've learned there is no point wasting money at cheaper stores when your kid never wears them. So, instead of buying two reasonably priced sweatshirts, I may get one Hollister. The point is, I spend the same amount of money and actually buy clothing they like and feel comfortable in. Remember when buying for teens, it doesn't really matter if they like the item or not, unless you have a strong teen, it matters if everyone else likes it and is wearing it.
