Thanksgiving 2006 in the Boston area offers many wonderful restaurants from which to chose. From traditional turkey to a seafood style holiday meal, you can satisfy almost any craving you might have.

Anthony's Pier 4 on 140 Northern Avenue in Boston, MA 02210, will be serving their popular annual traditional Thanksgiving meal. This dinner includes am impressive four courses with turkey and all the trimmings. Their normal seafood menu items will also be available. The cost per person is $45.

Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 3:00pm, Saturday: 12:00pm - 3:00pm
Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday & Saturday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Sunday: 12:00pm - 10:00pm

Anthony's is a non-smoking restaurant and wheelchair accessible. It has an amazing view of Boston Harbor. The dress code is business casual and valet parking as well as free parking is offered. MC², located at 2 Cambridge Center in Cambridge, MA 02142, is having a Thanksgiving celebration this year that will feature locally grown produce, organic meats and naturally raised turkey from Mistly Knoll Farm in Vermont. This feast is buffet style and priced at $35 per adult, $12 for children aged 12 and children under age 5 eat for free.

Sidney's at Hotel@MIT on 20 Sidney Street in Cambridge, MA 02139, is having a Thanksgiving buffet from 12pm to 8pm on November 23rd. Unique and delicious items include duck confit salad with grilled heirloom apples, slow roasted peppercorn-crusted rib eye, and cinnamon chocolate Marquise. The buffet also has appetizers, entrees, and a selection of desserts. Cost is $37 per person.

For a more formal Thanksgiving, Excelsior, on 272 Boylston Street in Boston, MA 02116, is serving a holiday meal from 1pm to 4pm November 23rd. The four course turkey dinner will include lobster and sweet potato bisque, oak leaf lettuces with apple and goat cheese, roasted organic turkey and warm valrhona chocolate cake. The holiday dinner is $78 without wine or $98 with each course with wine. This restaurant is well known for its over 600 bottle wine list, which is showcased in a three story wine tower located in the center of the restaurant.

Dress code is semi-formal, meaning a jacket is preferred. Payment options include American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. walk in diners are welcome, but early reservations are encouraged.
