The Thanksgiving Point Gardens are located in Lehi, Utah and are spread out over 55 acres of land. The grounds include 15 themed gardens as well as a Children's Discovery Garden. Garden themes include Shepherd's Hill, Grand Allee, Creek Garden, Monet Garden, Rose Garden, Koi View Pier, Vista Mound Garden, Fragrance Garden, Secret Garden, Butterfly Garden, Italian Garden, Prairie Garden, Parterre Garden, Waterfall Amphitheatre, and Mountain Garden. The gardens are breathtaking and each one seems to transport you into it's own beautiful and unique world. The Waterfall Amphitheatre garden contains the largest manmade waterfall in the western hemisphere! It truly is an impressive site to walk along this magnificent structure.
The Children's Discovery Garden is another wonderful addition to the grounds. Admission to this garden is included in the general Gardens admission, or can be purchased separately. The Children's Discovery Garden aims to allow children and adults to learn more about nature in a fun, and interactive way. Exciting features include Noah's Ark, the secret Bear Cave, an Eco Pond, and a magical hedgerow maze.
The Garden Path Greenhouse is another great feature of the Gardens, where you can purchase many of the beautiful plants and flowers found in the Gardens. Recreate a little piece of these wonderful gardens at your own home, with their many varieties of potted hanging plants, annual and perennial flowers, and garden décor.
The Gardens are located at 3900 N. Garden Drive in Lehi. They are open Monday thru Saturday, starting in late March and continuing until late October. Hours are from 10 am to 8 pm. Admission to the Gardens is $10 for adults, and $6 for children. For more information, call 801-768-4999 or visit the Thanksgiving Point website. I don't think I've been there when I was in Utah. It kind of reminds me of Garden of the Gods in Colorado though. :)
