Located just outside of Poulsbo, Washington is the city of Keyport. In Keyport one can find a popular eatery known as Whiskey Creek Steakhouse. This place is noted for its huge, tasty steaks. In fact, I have known people to travel for miles just to come here. In addition to the steaks, Whiskey Creek offers other typical pub food. The burgers are large and tasty. The fries are large and tasty. In fact, the menu items here are well worth the money. What is even nicer is the large portion size of their food items. The prices are reasonable.

The atmosphere alone is worth the trip, in my opinion. It reminds customers of a mountain lodge, very rustic in appearance. The landscaping is professionally done, also.

It is fun to go here and enjoy a great meal while enjoying the piano entertainment every night. The service has always been good the times I have been here. Plus, the servers are knowledgeable about the items available.

Another popular pub in the Poulsbo area is actually found on Bainbridge Island. Here one can find the popular Harbour Public House. This place has a strong local history behind it. This waterfront eatery provides great views of Eagle Harbor. In fact, the view is one of the strongest selling points here, I believe. Besides…the food is great!

Harbour Public House is noted for their homemade, delicious burgers. They are large and so tasty. My friend enjoyed the fish and chips, which the server recommended. Once again, serving portions are large. They also serve a variety of microbrews, cocktails, and wines.

The atmosphere here is inviting and comfortable. There is an open mic for entertainment each month. The outdoor patio provides an even better view of the waterfront area. During the summer months, this cannot be beat! In fact, there is customer moorage available here. How cool is that?

Prices are kind of high, but that is to be expected on Bainbridge Island. The quality of the food and the view may make up for it.

J.J. Fish House is another popular eatery known for its great burgers and seafood. Located on Front Street, this eatery/pub provides visitors to downtown Poulsbo with a place to rest their weary feet. The location is great with a view of the marina.

J.J.'s is known for their locally grown seafood. The seafood dishes I have had here are always been very fresh tasting. There are a variety of seafood dishes to choose from, too.
The burgers are large and are served with fries and a salad. In fact, the salads are delicious and HUGE here. The serving sizes, overall, are ample.

The atmosphere here is pleasant and airy. There is ample room to maneuver around. The service has been good each time I've been here. Servers are knowledgeable about food items and make suggestions.

In addition to the delicious food here, there are a variety of microbrews available. I found prices rather high here, but the food quality was excellent.
