Best Quotes for Super Bowl Sunday

Sports Quotes

This Sunday the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers will play against each other in the Super Bowl. If you find yourself at a loss for words then, the following quotes might help you out:

"Losing the Super Bowl is worse than death. With death, you don't have to get up next morning." Said by George Allen. If you think this Super Bowl quote is a tad overdramatic of a statement, well then, you just obviously don't understand football.

"I've seen women pee standing up with better aim." Said by Dennis Miller. This is a perfect back pocket Super Bowl quote for those times when the quarterback makes a bonehead throw and you're too flustered or drunk to come up with your own trash talk.

"Can't we silence those Christian athletes who thank Jesus whenever they win, and never mention His name when they lose? You never hear them say, 'Jesus made me drop the ball,' or 'The good Lord tripped me up behind the line of scrimmage." Said by George Carlin. This quote is for those fans who get annoyed listening to football players thank God for their win as if God actually has a favorite football team in the Super Bowl.

"You can't deny you did steroids if your head is wider than it is tall." Said by Dennis Miller. This quote is for those situations you find yourself put on the defensive. Your buddy is rubbing it in your face that your quarterback just got the stuffing smacked out of him, and you need an excuse as to why that could have happened in spite of the QB's awesomeness. Simple: steroids.

"If practice makes perfect, and no one is perfect, why practice?" Said by many lazy people. This quote is mostly for the kids out there who will be watching the games with their dads. Not just any dad, but the dads who dream of watching a mini-me version of themselves playing on a future Super Bowl Sunday. The game is going to end and they are going to be hyped up wanting to make the dream happen for themselves. They're going to try to talk you into going out and tossing around the football. They won't care that it's dark out or that a new episode of Glee is about to come on TV. When you object, they are going to try to convince you that you have to practice if you want to be as perfect as Aaron Rodgers. This is when you need to use their 'no one is perfect' speech against them.
