Best Reasons to Not Go Clubbing Without Your Spouse

No matter who you put this question to about clubbing without a spouse, they seem to have a strong opinion about it. The general consensus is; it's either okay, or absolutely not. Well of course no one can make decisions for others, so I'm am only here to list some of the best reasons why it may not be the best idea to go clubbing without a spouse. What you decide in the end is what you will have to live with, and no one else.

So, what's so bad about clubbing without your spouse? Well, the very first thing it can do is plant a seed of doubt in your spouse's mind. But then you say, if they trust me this won't happen. Okay, so which fantasy land were you raised in? People are just plain human, emotional beings, with very active imaginations. Except for those who think they are above all that. Of course those types of people have their own set of problems. So, why confuse or taint your relationship with seeds of doubt if you don't have to? Exactly, remember those nasty little seeds could grow into something really ugly.

You know most of us have very little time to spend with our spouses nowadays as it is. Between work, kids, family responsibilities and many other things that take up our time, we have very few moments as just a couple. This time is very precious and important to a couples' relationship. So, why are you wasting it out in the night clubs alone? Mmm, maybe we are on to something here. Are you out clubbing to avoid your spouse? That's not going to help your relationship at all. With the limited free time people have nowadays, it just makes sense to spend those precious moments with your spouse and improving your relationship, not avoiding it, or making it worse.

How many people I have heard say, I'm not going to do anything wrong. Maybe that's true, and maybe not. You know a funny thing happens when people are drinking, the music is playing, and oh yes, that guy thinks you look beautiful, or that hot woman is flirting with you big time. Oh boy, if this isn't a disaster waiting to happen. How slippery things get when we are in those slippery places. Why take the chance of losing a spouse over some stupid, unthinking mistake you made one night, that you honestly didn't plan on making. We are human, which makes us not only fallible, but also means we can make some really stupid and devastating mistakes.

There you have it, the best reasons to not go clubbing without your spouse. It's your decision, but remember, I tried to warn you, so please, no tears and no phone calls from the divorce lawyer's office.
