1. The Lockview: I chose the Lockview for a few different reasons. It certainly has space, and particularly in the warmer months when many graduation parties and celebrations will be taking place, it is one of the few Akron area restaurants with a rooftop patio. This patio is great because it offers some exclusion for your party, and has great atmosphere. You also can't deny that the menu is child-friendly-with its wide variety of grilled cheese and sides of goldfish crackers. The menu covers a variety of different tastes, making it highly versatile and great for everyone. Visit: http://thelockview.com
2. Wasabi: Though I tend to shy away from chain restaurants in any case, opting for local business, I find this restaurant to be incredibly appropriate for this sort of a gathering. Not only is it ideal for large groups, but the novelty of hibachi cooking makes it a fun experience for all involved. It is generally Asian fare, but odds are everyone can find something among the selections of meat, vegetables, and rice. Perhaps you can even try to persuade your uncle to try some sushi! This one of the best hibachi restaurants I've found in the Akron area, and if you aren't up for sitting in front of that open grill, you can opt for regular restaurant seating. 3. Bricco: This downtown Akron restaurant is an Italian fusion restaurant, with an extensive (and delicious) menu. I chose to include this restaurant because of its variety and mass appeal. The building itself can more than accommodate a large group of people, and the wide selection of different pizzas undoubtedly makes it child-friendly. It is rather classy, as well, which I find to be quite a perk when it comes to these types of celebrations. Not only is it one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Akron, Ohio, but it's one of my favorite restaurants in general. Visit: http://www.briccoakron.com
I hope that using this list you will find a great venue for your graduation dinner, or any other occasion that happens to pop up in Akron, Ohio. Enjoy your special day, and congratulations!
