Best Restaurants in Minneapolis: Hell's Kitchen Review
Lunch in Hell's Kitchen Can be a Heavenly Experience
Minneapolis, MN 55403
United States of America
89 South 10th Street is a renovated brick building in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota and just around the corner from Nicollet Mall. This family owned Minneapolis restaurant features a moderately priced and varied menu with something for everyone. Even my vegetarian friend had plenty of dishes to choose from, and the kids' portion of menu looked good too! Hell's Kitchen serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can order your favorite items in any combination you'd like or choose from the unique dishes they've created. I choose the French toast made from baguette slices. The chewy bread and pure maple syrup made this common dish far from ordinary. Fresh fruit and full flavored coffee completed my breakfast, leaving me full and satisfied. They offer their own homemade lemon flavored vanilla yogurt, make their own peanut butter, and blackberry jam or blood orange marmalade made from scratch. They even make their own ketchup and mustard! These items are so popular that you can buy them online at their website, www.hellskitcheninc.com, along with T-shirts and other items with the Hell's Kitchen logo.
Lunch is from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This Minneapolis restaurant offers homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers. They also serve brunch on the weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You will want to call ahead and make reservations by calling 612-332-4700. The weekend brunches at this Minneapolis restaurant are especially popular, so you may find yourself waiting in line up to thirty minutes, even though they save some tables specifically for walk-ins. Ample parking is available in the lot across the street. Although they close their doors at 2:00 p.m., Hell's Kitchen is available for booking private events after 5:00 p.m.
A "curbside menu", unique in Minneapolis, is offered seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Just call ahead, pay by credit card, and your food will be delivered to your car right outside their front door.
The next time I'm in Minneapolis, Minnesota I plan on attending on Salvation Sunday to listen to the old time gospel tunes they play, which changes up the normal weekly atmosphere.
Don't let the name fool you. Minneapolis' Hell's Kitchen's only represents the chaotic activity inside their busy kitchen. I thought it was heavenly.
