Best Restaurants Near Florida Atlantic University's Boca Raton Campus

Florida Atlantic University's main campus is located in upscale Boca Raton, Florida where there is no shortage of great places to eat. Although there are several dining options on campus including a food court and a sports bar, the list of restaurants off campus is endless.

Here is a list of my favorite restaurants that are within a few miles of the school:

Moe's Southwest Grill

Moe's is located on Glades Road., practically across the street from FAU. I like Moe's because they are vegetarian friendly--as a matter of fact, PETA named them the most vegetarian friendly restaurant. As the name suggests, Moe's has a southwestern flair to its food. Delicious burritos, salads, tacos, and quesadillas adorn the menu. The food is very good and inexpensive, although Moe's gets pretty packed around lunch time. Moe's great food, good prices, and close proximity to FAU make it a perfect choice for a snack between classes.

Brewzzi's

Brewzzi's is a great restaurant and I always enjoy eating there. The menu is diverse and the portions are large. Brewzzi's serves pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches. My personal favorite is the grilled vegetable sandwich with potato salad on the side. The potato salad is homemade and probably the best that I have ever tasted. The pizzas are worth mentioning too. Brewzzi's is not overly expensive, but it's not cheap either. I highly recommend trying this restaurant at least once while you are at FAU.

Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory is famous for its great food and fortunately for FAU students at the Boca campus, there is a Cheesecake Factory on Glades Road about a half a mile from campus. For those who have never experienced the thrill of this popular restaurant, the Cheesecake Factory is more than just cheesecake. The book length menu features any type of cuisine you could imagine and the potions are enormous! It's definitely a place to go to celebrate the end of finals, or just have a nice lunch or dinner once in awhile.

California Pizza Kitchen

The California Pizza Kitchen is located in the Town Center Mall which is about a mile from FAU on Glades Road. The pizzas at the California Pizza Kitchen are truly outstanding and unique, representing several different ethnic cuisines including Thai, Indian, Caribbean, and Greek. The California Pizza Kitchen also offers patrons a selection of soups, salads, and pastas. This restaurant is a good choice is you want to take a break after doing a little shopping at the mall, or if you just want some great specialty pizza.
