Best Rides and Attractions at Universal Studios in Orlando

Autumn Skies
If you love the movies, Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, will probably be your theme park of choice. Universal Studios offers a number of thrilling rides and attractions that will seemingly transport you from sunny Central Florida to Hollywood, California. Here are the best rides and attractions at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Perhaps the most thrilling and original roller coaster in the Orlando area is Revenge of the Mummy. Few roller coasters actually tell a story while delivering on the screams, but Revenge of the Mummy most certainly does. You will be plunged into darkness and forced to find a way to escape as the mummy attempts to gather your soul. This coaster is hypnotic. It will shake your senses and probably frighten you to the core. Revenge of the Mummy is one the most exciting roller coasters in the world.

There are not all that many ways to get wet at Universal Studios in Orlando, but Jaws is the one exception. Jaws is a thrilling water ride with a story of its own. You will set out in a large boat, with a skipper at the helm. Don't worry, he'll be armed with a loaded grenade launcher. You will take a tranquil boat ride in New England waters, until...Jaws makes an appearance. The mammoth shark will pop out of the water and bare its fangs. The skipper will take his shots to try to protect you, but ultimately...well, I don't want to ruin it for you. The only spoiler I'll give you is this: You will get wet.

You may have seen all of the Terminator movies, but if this is your first visit to Universal Studios in Orlando, you have never seen anything like this: Terminator 2: 3D. Terminator 2: 3D uses a unique combination of spectacular visual effects and live action stage acting to create an unforgettable experience. John and Sarah Conner need to take down Sky Net, but they are also targeted for destruction. Luckily, they will have a little help from a certain cyborg-turned-California governor to save the day. This show is a can't-miss.

If you love special effects, and particularly love watching natural disasters in movies, then there are two attractions at Universal Studios in Orlando that you simply must check out. Twister and Earthquake. The names speak for themselves. Twister allows you to experience the vortex of a tornado, just like Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt in the blockbuster. Earthquake puts you right into the middle of a big one. Both of these attractions just might take your breath away, and they are two of the best attractions at Universal Studios in Orlando.
