Shark Alley is well populated by Caribbean Reef Sharks. The Shark Awareness Project is in charge of providing safe dives with sharks while allowing you to view these sharks as they feed on squid. Ocean Frontiers is the company, which sets up the scuba dive for the project, in conjunction with Nova University of New Brunswick whose aim is to educate scuba divers about shark behavior.

These are a few of dive sites to go shark diving in the Cayman Islands. Most of these companies are not located in the Cayman Islands themselves because the authorities have banned the feeding of sharks and imposing high fines and jail time for anyone caught in the act. The law was passed in connection to concern expressed by local diving operators about the altered behavior of sharks which were being hand fed by humans.     Well, there are more than one kind of shark in the Caymans...there's also the financial kind that will eat you alive if you make the wrong investment! :)
