Traveling to Phoenix has afforded us the opportunity to experience several excellent seafood restaurants. We have been fortunate in finding these seafood restaurants through personal referrals from friends and family in the Phoenix area. Take the word of several families and enjoy the cuisine at each one.

Blue Water Gill, located at 1720 East Camelback Road, ranks number one on the list for their sushi bar. It's the best in Phoenix. The seafood entrees are excellent, especially the shrimp linguine. Two seating areas are provided - the main floor is for casual dining while the second floor is for fine dining. Prices range from $15 to $30 a meal. Located at 11051 N Black Canyon Highway, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen serves delicious seafood dishes. Prices per meal range from $20 to $40. The atmosphere is enhanced by the beautiful decor and friendly staff. I highly recommend the oysters and gumbo. Try one of their specialty desserts or drinks to finish off your meal. Steamer's Genuine Seafood, located at 2576 East Camelback Road in the Biltmore Shopping Center, has excellent service and a wonderful ambiance with decor to match. The restaurant provides value service, a seafood information menu and a child's menu. Their shrimp meals are all excellent! A must try for all is their Escolar with curried peaches and jicama julien. McCormick & Schmicks Seafood Restaurant at 2575 Camelback Road, is a definite stop for anyone who enjoys seafood. The prices are reasonable, ranging from $15 to $30 a meal. McCormick's wine list is extensive and boasts some excellent vintage. The wine definitely added the finishing touches to our lobster meals. The decor is excellent with a very room atmosphere. Plenty of room between tables to provide a more private setting. The service is excellent. The menu is diverse. Reservations are recommended on the weekend. Hours for all the restaurants are standard. They are open from 11 am to 10 pm Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from noon to 10 pm. McCormick's has different hours on Sunday so phone ahead to make sure they are open.
