Best Selling Workout DVDs from Fitness Guru Denise Austin

If You Plan to Work it Out, Shape it Up, or Keep it Fit Denise Austin Has a DVD for Your Fitness Goals

R.L. Spence
When it comes to losing weight, toning up or keeping fit and healthy Denise Austin has a plan for anyone. With 84 workout videos, over 20 million in product sales, 10 fitness books and the record for the longest running fitness show in television history she surpasses "guru" and earns the title "Fitness Icon."

I first turned to Austin's video collection 10 years ago while training to be a firefighter/EMT. With a busy schedule, and the need for some toning, I needed a workout I could do in a matter of minutes a day. Her step-by-step approach was easy to learn and fun!

I turned to Denise again after the births of both my children, when shaping up is high on anyone's mind. Her Pilate's DVD was spectacular at giving me a smooth transition back into a routine.

I took the time to learn more about her line when I switched jobs and I acquired what I lovingly term "secretary spread". After working on my feet for over ten years my body just wasn't used to sitting for a living. My backside and my thighs increased little by little because they weren't getting the attention they were used to. When I could fit my boyfriends jeans I knew it was time for drastic measures. But there was Austin again with a fun and motivating DVD that targeted my problem area's without exhausting me.

What are your fitness goals? Looking to drop a couple pounds? Want to tighten or tone? Or, do you just want to have fun while keeping fit? No matter what your particular need Austin's collection holds something you can use.

Here I have assembled some information on a few of her top selling workout DVDS.

Denise Austin 'Get Fit Daily Dozen' DVD-
This DVD is awesome! Five different 12 minute workouts. Each workout is designed to help you in a different way. They are comprised of 12 moves in 12 minutes. I enjoy it because it can be worked into my schedule, and it isn't a long drawn out process. Some fitness videos have you doing the same moves over and over again for what seems like forever. But, with this DVD you spend one minute per move, and then move on. And with 5 different 12 minute routines, I can spice up my week a little. CARDIO-ATHLETIC on Monday, CARDIO KICKBOX on Tuesday, BODY SCULPT on Wednesday, UPPER BODY SCULPT on Thursday, and Friday YOGA STRETCH. If you feel like a change, rearrange the order that you do them.

Denise Austin 'Shrink Your Female Fat Zones' DVD-
This workout sounds like something your mother whispers to you, when she is trying to drop the hint that you've put on a few. Don't let the title fool you. As a woman, I can vouch for the "female" problem areas. Any one out there ever had a hard time trimming those thighs? Or what about the baby "pouch" on your tummy? Feel like you'll work out forever before your rear end looks tone again? This DVD helps tone all of those areas, as well as the abs, the upper arms, and hips. Say goodbye to arm flab ladies! Seriously, Austin made this DVD for women like me, trying to tone "problem areas".

Denise Austin Boot Camp - Total Body Blast - DVD-
This "drilling" DVD includes a 20 minute Cardio, a 20 minute Strength, and a 10 minute Flexibility workout. Each designed to motivate the slacker in all of us. While that sounds harsh, it's the truth. I pull this one out on days I should workout, but really don't want to.
What's really strange is, by the time I'm done with the 20 minutes of cardio training I want to do the strength and flexibility. Denise really motivates. I guess that's why she is the fitness icon that she is right?

Denise Austin Fit & Firm Pregnancy - DVD-
I wish this had been out while I was pregnant. I bought it for one of my friends while she was expecting, and she is still thanking me. This DVD gives you ways to stay in shape through the 3rd trimester, and even has a post baby "bounce-back" workout. If I ever have another child I'm getting myself a copy.

Denise Austin's videos and dvds are workout wonders. While she has several other best selling titles, I can only personally vouch for a few. To see more of her DVDS, or to learn more about Denise herself, visit her official website at www.deniseaustin.com .
