However, this one is wonderful for red, and the water will NOT be blood red. Dove will help lock the color in.

For under $10.00 you can buy a 8.5 ounce bottle. You will not be disappointed with this. To apply make sure your hair is throughly wet. Then add the shampoo. The bottle says to leave it on for 2 minutes, but I'm telling you to leave it on for 10 minutes. Then rinse out in cold water. DO NOT use hot water.

Other shampoos for red copper hair some might consider are Tresemme Color Thrive, Pantene Pro-V, Herbal Essences, John Frieda Radiant Red, or Clairol Shimmer for Brunette and Red. All of these don't work well at all. Don't let them fool you. If you have extra money, you can also go with Bumble and Bumble True Red Shampoo for $ 20-$25. I must admit, even though it's not on my mentioned above list, it really does rock.
