This first site for holiday printables may seem like an odd place to have them but it's a great one! Butterball.com is, of course, a website devoted to talking turkey. But it has a whole section devoted to the kids. If you go to that site, you will see a menu of site links at the bottom of the page. The very last link on the far right says "Just For Kids". That's where you will fine fantastic printable coloring sheets for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus an adorable placemat for your Thanksgiving dinner that your kids can color and then lay out on the table for all of your dinner guests to admire. You will also find a link to Puzzles. The puzzles are a printable crossword, a printable word search and a printable word scramble. These are great for some of the older children in your home who may be less inclined to enjoy the coloring sheets. You can even use these as a party game for the kids at your Thanksgiving dinner party. This is why Butterball.com is one of my favorite sites for children's holiday printables.
My next favorite site for holiday printables is a site that I actually use all year round, DLTK.com. This site has everything that you could possibly imagine when it comes to free children's printables. Not only holiday materials but school work, songs, poems, recipes, arts and crafts, games and puzzles. This site is loaded with anything and everything. For the holidays, you can choose from coloring sheets, writing papers, games like Bingo and Memory as well as worksheets like addition and subtraction with a holiday theme. My girls love when I print things from this site because they never know what they will get. I like to keep them guessing. In addition to all of the fun coloring pages and games, I like to print a lot of the school worksheets during the holidays to keep their little minds fresh on the subjects that they are learning in school. It helps them have less of an adjustment time when they go back to school after their long winter break. DLTK.com is my #1 favorite site for children's holiday printables and all year round.
Next up on my list of favorite sites for holiday printables is KidsDomain.com. This site is great, especially since it's name implies that it's all about the kids. They have several cute Christmas [rintable coloring sheets in different sizes and some have seperate download links for PC and Mac. Then there are the printable mazes (my girls adorare mazes), word puzzles and Christmas riddles. Then, as if that wasn't enough of the printable goodies, they have a huge list of other websites where you can find many, many more printables and crafts for the holidays. KidsDomain.com is definitely a site you will want to add to your favorites folder.
Lastly, is a plce that most online parents already know about. Heck, if Santa visits your house you should know about NorthPole.com before Christmas Eve. This site is filled with fun things for your child to explore. There is an animated village where your child can send Santa a letter and he will reply, your child can create personalized stories, you can visit Mrs. Claus' kitchen for yummy recipes and even check out the Reindeer Barn. Fun awaits around every corner of this site. As for the holiday printables, you can find complete stories for your children to color and read. There are several online games for your children to play, like Telling Time, Checkers, Counting Money, Trim A Tree and Build A Snowman. When Christmas Eve finally arrives do NOT forget to head to NorthPole.com because there is a direct link to NORAD's Santa Tracker!!!! This can't be missed!!
While I know that there are probably thousands upon thousands of other sites for children's holiday printables, these are just the ones that I use on a regular basis and that I know my children enjoy. My kids feel very grateful when I print out these pages for them. They act like it's the best act of love ever, even though I know that it's just a piece of paper. I know that they love them and I am always trying to make time to print more and more pages out for them. Especially during the holiday seasons. These printables give them the opportunity to share their creativity with everyone who enters our home because I allow their artwork to be displayed all during the holiday season. So try some printables for your kids. You will love the way that their little faces will light up with glee. Happy Holidays!!

Post a CommentThank you for reading my article. Too bad the links didn't turn out right. Here is the correct DLTK link if anyone is interested. http://www.dltk-holidays.com/
Thanks for the information, I had a few minutes and checked out three of them. I've been looking for sites like these for print outs for my grandchild! (She is 7 yrs. old and adores mazes, too!) We are going to have fun with these sites, thanks again!
