Best Songs by Jeff Beck

Nick Mayer
Jeff Beck isn't famous for being in a big band that is known worldwide. He is more of a guitarist than anything. Though he hasn't been in a great band before, Jeff Beck is still one of the greatest guitarists to ever live and here are some of the best songs by Jeff Beck.

Freeway Jam - This is one of Jeff Beck's most upbeat songs. Like the song title would make you think, it really makes you feel like you are stuck in traffic and jamming with a guitar. This is by far my favorite song made by Jeff Beck and is one of his most famous and popular songs that he has written. Freeway Jam is my personal favorite song made by Jeff Beck and when he plays this song live there is nowhere else that I would rather be.

Beck's Bolero - This strictly instrumental song has some of the greatest musicians ever playing with Jeff Beck. Jimmy Page plays the guitar in this song, John Paul Jones on the bass, Keith Moon plays the drums, and Nicky Hopkins plays toe piano. This is one of Jeff Beck's most famous and popular songs ever released. Recorded in 1966, this song was way ahead of its time with collaborations.

Cause We've Ended As Lovers - There aren't too many songs that tell a whole story in the solo. Much like the song Layla by Derek and the Dominos, Cause We've Ended As Lovers does the exact same thing. A song that was originally written by Stevie Wonder but was never released was recorded by Jeff Beck and this is one of Beck's most passionate songs.

People Get Ready - This song has been covered by so many people, but none have covered it as well as Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart did. This song has been highly influential to many people and is based on religion. Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart complement each other very nicely in People Get Ready, but is just one of Jeff Beck's great songs he has recorded.

A Day In the Life - A song originally recorded by The Beatles, Jeff Beck has done a great job covering a song that was created by probably the best band to ever play. This song has been recorded and covered by many famous artists, but Jeff Beck's version is probably one of the best versions of this masterpiece. A Day in the Life was one of The Beatles most meaningful and impacting songs to be written, and the fact that Jeff Beck can do so much with this song tells a lot about the man.

Usually, On Saturday night's Mr. Growdy would meet with
Ms. Tuesday for a love liason and the vampires were in the
peep hole. In the French language a peep hole is called
"Judas" as it was him whom betrayed Jesus as the Vatican
has yet to disclose where he was crucified.

Rock on. Rock on in the Purple Shadow
    are sisters of lust
