Best Songs on Lady Antebellum's New CD 'Need You Now'

One of my favorite country music groups, Lady Antebellum, recently released their newest album, Need You Now. I bought it on ITunes the day it came out and have been listening to it ever since. Although I like almost all of the songs, I wanted to give my review of the top 4 songs from this CD.

1- Need You Now

This is the album's title, and also one of the best songs. It describes a situation where you are alone and you have broken up with someone you loved, but sometimes you start missing them and you really need them with you. Even though you know you shouldn't call them and shouldn't talk to them, you can't help but miss them. This song reminds me of myself at times as well, because when things weren't going well with the guy I love, we broke up for a while, and I never stopped missing him or wanting him with me. One of my favorite lines is, "I wonder if I ever cross your mind, for me it happens all the time." That's such a true statement when you have someone that you love and can't stop thinking about.

2- American Honey

I absolutely love this song because it makes me reminisce on my life and all of the wonderful things I've encountered so far. It's about a girl who is going through life, enjoying it and then one day she looks back and realizes how great it's been. One line that hits me is, "Oh I miss those days as the years go by, nothing's sweeter than summertime." This makes me think about how fast life is going and it makes you want to stop and enjoy the little moments that you used to really appreciate. It's a beautiful song and also one of the top hits on the radio right now!!

4- When You Got a Good Thing

This is a beautiful song that is perfect for anyone who is in a loving relationship. It makes you appreciative of your better half and reassures you that you can make it. The song talks about how there are going to be some hard times but when you have each other, and when you have a good thing, it's worth it and you can make it. I have been in love with a wonderful man for over 5 years now, and we have definitely had our fair share of ups and downs, but I love him now more than ever, and it's songs like this that truly give me the words and help me to realize how good we have it.

5- If I Knew Then

This is my favorite song on Lady Antebellum's CD. It talks about the different encounters in life and how you pass up opportunities with people that you really care about or really fall for, and then later you look back and wish you had done something different. "Love only comes once in a while," and you don't want to run out of chances. So take a leap of faith, and don't be afraid to fall in love!
