Best Spring TV Dramas for Mom

The networks haven't forgot that we love drama! Moms, we have some great ones to pick from. Here are our favorite new best spring TV dramas for mom.

Lie To Me

Fox brings an interesting drama with a quirky lead actor. It stars Tim Roth from hit shows like the Incredible Hulk and Reservoir Dogs. He plays Dr. Cal Lightman the guy you don't lie to. Meet him every week as he finds the truth and uncovers secrets with his special gift, lie detection. Based on a real character, this gritty drama puts Fox on the map on Tuesday nights. The show also features Kelli Williams from the Practice. We love this drama!

Lost!

It's not new, but it is history in the making. Lost is again our favorite drama this year. With new plot lines and some serious solidity to the show now, you'll be glad you revisited the island. And don't forget the three main reasons moms should watch the show, Sayid, Dr. Jack and of course Sawyer! This year, the Oceanic 6 return to the island to uncover more of it's secrets. We say yes to this drama! Lost plays on ABC, Wednesday nights.

Dollhouse

Coming to Fox on February 13th is a shocking drama you'll love. You'll definitely escape reality with a show dedicated to shocking you. Dollhouse is about Echo played by Eliza Dushku. Echo is part of an underground group that allows a company to wipe their personalities away and become whatever they hired for. If you want an assassin or a best friend, for the right price, Echo will become what you need. Because of the unusual premises Dollhouse deserves to be included in our best spring TV dramas for mom.

Castle

ABC brings Castle life on Monday March 9th. Writer Richard Castle (played by Nathan Fillion) has a history of solving mysteries. At least in books. Castle decides to put his skills to some real tests. He joins NYPD Detective Kate Becket (played by Stania Katic) in solving unusual homicides in the New York area. This drama if full of all the right tension and promises to deliver a drama with some staying power! Watch Castle for a good hour of mystery and suspense.

Fringe

Two masters of drama J.J. Abrams (think Lost) and Roberto Orico (Star Trek) got together on this one. This tense, taut drama follows FBI Agent Olivia Dunham as she investigates some unusual occurrences and happenings that nearly cost her partner is his life. Her partner, Agent John Scott (John Valley) joins her as they investigate a mysterious company called Massive Dynamic in search for clues to what is really happening. Fringe is on Fox is full of laboratory science and mysteries.
