As a woman with fine hair, I can tell you that learning how to manage it is not easy or cheap. Inexpensive hair care products weigh it down, and you need specific styling tools for fine hair to keep it from frizzing or becoming filled with static. With a little know-how, though, you can learn how to manage fine hair and give the illusion of fuller, thicker hair by finding the best styling tools for your hair type.

Round brush with metal barrel

By far, one of the best styling tools for fine hair is a round brush with a metal barrel. These brushes are available in various sizes for every hair length. Wider diameters (such as 3.5") would be optimal for women with long hair, while smaller ones (such as 1" - 1.5") would be more appropriate for short hair styles. Flat irons make all hair types look shiny and healthy, and eliminate frizz by 100%. When used with the other products listed above, they can be used by women with even the finest hair types. As with most other styling tools for fine hair, it is better to invest in a quality product than settle for something cheap. In addition, to manage fine hair you should not overheat the flat iron, but style your hair with one of the lower heat settings.
