Best Tasting Weight Watchers Smart Ones Dinners for 4 Points or Less

Nicole Lang
While eating frozen diet dinners is not always an ideal way to lose weight, let's face it who has time and money to cook healthy every night. That being the case there are times that frozen diet dinners are still preferred over a late night drive through.

Weight Watchers frozen dinners are exceptionally good and list the points value on the side of the box for those of you counting points. There are quite a few other companies teaming up to also list these points.

The dinners vary in point value but if you are looking to eat no more than 4 points here are a five of the best tasting Weight Watchers Smart Ones entrees for 4 points or under.

Angel Hair Marinara (4 points)

This pasta dish is complete with pasta, marinara sauce and loaded with veggies such as squash and zucchini. It is exceptionally good and also surprisingly quite filling.

Chicken Oriental (4 points)

This chicken is served with both rice and some veggies mixed in. The sauce is similar to a sweet and sour and has a nice flavor to it. Like the Angel Hair Marinara, the Chicken Oriental is surprisingly filling.

Fettucini Alfredo (4 points)

Although I am not normally an alfredo fan, this dish is not overpowering. It has a nice creamy texture and comes with broccoli to liven it up a bit.

Homestyle Beef Pot Roast (3 points)

Chicken was enough of a stretch to get me to try in its frozen form but beef? After the success with chicken I figured I would try anything once. These tiny pieces of beef are slathered in gravy and surrounded by vegetables. While this is no filet, Weight Watchers Pot Roast is a nice deviation from the chicken and pasta entrees.

Roasted Chicken with Sour Cream and Chive Mashed Potatoes (4 points)

The sauce that covers this chicken to me is very similar to a marsala sauce. The potatoes are creamy and delicious. While you certainly do not feel that you are eating at a fine dining establishment this dish certainly will keep you satisfied.

I would not recommend eating these all of the time due to their high sodium content. -They are a good solution for a quick dinner with pre-calculated points value.
