First on my list is Taste of Thai. This eclectic restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Fayetteville, just a short walk from the town square. The colorful decor and friendly staff ensure that your experience will memorable. Familiar faces greet you as you enter, and you are likely to see the same serving staff at each visit.
It's the food however that will keep you coming back. With a massive dinner menu of over 50 items and an additional 27 vegetarian choices, there is something for everyone. Some of my favorites include, the Summer Role appetizer, the Green Papaya Salad, King Seafood in yellow curry sauce, or if you are not the adventurous type try the Thai BBQ Chicken or the Cashew Chicken. With something for everyone Taste of Thai is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. With great lunch specials and carry-out, Taste of Thai is a must try in the Fayetteville dining scene.

Next on the list is Thai Diner. This is probably my favorite location for Thai food for lunch. Along with a great menu there is the added bonus, delicious Coconut soup served with each lunch order. I assure you one taste of this savory soup and you'll be back for lunch on a regular basis. While the menu at Thai Diner is not quite expansive as Taste of Thai, there are definitely many choices. A few of my personal favorites are the Panang Curry, Massaman Curry, and the Chicken Noodle bowl. In addition to hot choices, you can select from their sushi menu. Vegetarian choices are limited but you can always substitute tofu for any of the meat selections, and let me tell you they make a mean fried tofu, yum!

I've been told that if you want true, authentic Thai food then Thep Thai is the place to go. This restaurant offers a simple and unique dining experience, with reasonably priced entrees. It is rumored that many of the Thai peppers used in the meals are grown by the owners of this quaint restaurant. With fast service and hot food, this Thai dining experience is perfect for a casual meal. Some of my favorites include the Pad Thai and Tofu Green Curry. Go at lunch and you'll be treated to a warm rice soup that is the perfect beginning to what will be wonderful meal.

Finally there is the conveniently located Bangkok Cuisine on the popular strip Dickson Street. This is the perfect spot to pop in and grab some food after a day of perusing the used book store or have drinks at one of the many bars that line the street. While this may not be my first choice in Thai cuisine, the food is well made and reasonably priced. In addition, Bangkok offers a selection of sushi and a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Post a CommentI have loved Taste of Thai since they opened and try to make it at least once a month. Anytime I discover one of my friends hasn't been, I insist they go. The best, hands down.
