The Target clearance deals run on a regular schedule as far as when they markdown items (and remember just because it may be the scheduled markdown day sometimes items are not always marked down, for example I recently saw some band aids marked down to $1.60 from $1.97, so I figured I would wait until the regular day they markdown health & beauty items, went in the day after and it was still clearances at only $1.67, however, 3 weeks later we were in and it was marked down, so just because it is marked down once, it may or not be marked down again, but if it does get marked down again, it will be one of these days:
Monday: Kids clothes & electronics
Tuesday:Womens cloths, pet and market pantry (Target food items)
Wednesday: Men's clothes, Lawn & Garden, Health & Beauty, toys
Thursday: Housewares, sporting goods, shoes, books, music, home decor
Friday: Jewelry, hardware, cosmetics
And another tip, which I saw somewhere on line but never actually tested, so can not say if it is true or not, but if the price ends in 4, that is the final markdown before it is gone. So if you see a price ending in 4, buy it now or never! And not all targets will mark down the same merchandise, I am guessing it depends on your area, how much stock is left in a particular store, like the band aids I saw on clearance, maybe they sold off the shelves at full price at another Target, obviously they will not be marked down, so if you live close enough to travel to different Targets you just may find great DIFFERENT deals at EACH store, not the same great deals repeated!
Another good tip, Target has printable coupons on heir website to use in store. I will print these coupons out each week and hold on to them until expiration. Every week I see Target post different coupons, so the coupons you saw last week, that may be good for a sale this week, will not longer be on the website. So if you printed them out the week before you will have them to use!
