Best TV Drinking Games

In a previous article, I covered some drinking games that involve a lot of movement. If you are feeling like having a much more chill night and just drink casually (but still a lot) with some buddies, here are some good games to play while still watching the regular TV shows.

1. SportsCenter

This is a rough one to start out with, but let's do it anyways. It's called SportsCenter, but you can pretty much do it to any other ESPN show or even any sports show in general. The rules are simple. You drink every time somebody scores. Obviously, since the actual SportsCenter show is all highlights, it works the best with this show. The fun part is that you never really know how much you're going to have to drink. Some seasons are worse than others (basketball is a rough one). You can add your own little rules too if you want to. We usually would drink half a beer for any play that wasn't a score, but still awesome (big hit, big block, etc.). If you're like me and watch ESPN half the day anyways, this game is perfect for you.

2. Seinfeld

This is a game that makes you drink surprisingly more than you think it will. You simply drink every time that little clip of the theme song plays. You will quickly notice that this actually happens between each scene change. To big Seinfeld fans, you can also add some more rules like drinking half a beer every time Kramer busts through the door or chugging a full beer every time a Superman reference is made (there is one every episode if you didn't know).

3. Family Guy

Here's a game that will give you a lot of laughs while drinking some cold ones. This is another simple game. Every time there is a flashback, which happens all the time in the show, drink your beer. There are also some other fun rules we added to make the game more fun. Drink every time someone makes fun of Meg or every time Brian and Stewie are in a scene together. Also, have everybody pick a side character. Basically pick any character other than the family members and drink every time they appear in a scene. Some good ones to pick are Quagmire, Cleveland (older episodes), and Joe.

With these games, you'll be sure to make the most out of an ordinary relaxing night of drinking.
