Best TV Sitcoms for Mom

Monica Bullock
Sitcoms are great! They take you away from reality and usually immerse you in humor. Well, these shows will do just that. They will make you laugh and give moms some comedy relief. Here our choices for the best TV sitcoms for mom!

Better Off Ted

Coming to the ABC network on March 18th is Better Off Ted. This cool looking situation comedy is all about Ted played by Jay Harrington. Ted is in charge of research and development at Veridian Technologies and although he loves what he does, he isn't sure his company is doing the right things. You'll recognize the lovely Portia de Rossi as his boss, Veronica and some great support characters. Better Off Ted has a great premise and is very entertaining. Loved it!

In the Motherhood

Mom, if you are looking for a great sitcom, then look no further. Even if you didn't get a chance to view the web series of the same name, you'll love In the Motherhood. Megan Mullally of Will and Grace fame is back as one of the three moms in this story. She's a dysfunctional mom. There's also the hilarious Cheryl Hines and Jessica St. Clair. These three moms weave some humorous plots based on real life stories. It's on ABC beginning March 26.

Gary Unmarried

Gary Unmarried is a funny sitcom produced by CBS. Jay Mohr plays Gary Barnes a contractor. His manipulative ex wife Allison is played by Paula Marshall. They have two kids and awkwardly, but humorously balance the responsibilities of parenting. Gary meets a new gal and Allison gets engaged. Complicated by funny, Gary Unmarried is a great show for anyone who's been single or divorced. Or anyone with a funny bone. It plays on Wednesdays on CBS.

Til Death

Who doesn't love Brad Garrett? We do! He's now on Fox in their new show, Til Death. Brad plays Eddie Stark, his wife Joy is played by Joely Fisher. Together this couple makes long lasting marriage look fun! They fuss and fight but in the end of every episode love always conquers all. We loved Til Death with Brad! Fun, midweek comedy relief.

Cupid

Moms, you'll fall for this show. Is he really Cupid or just a guy who loves love? ABC's new romantic comedy stars Trevor played by Bobby Cannavale. Trevor seeks the help of psychologist Dr. Clair Allen. His mission, to bring love to the heartbroken. Handsome and hunky, moms, you'll love Cupid. ABC hasn't announced the date yet, but we'll be watching this funny sitcom.
