1. Used Book Warehouse of Evansville - 2280 N. Cullen Avenue, Suite E
Located on the east side of Evansville, this used bookstore is the mother of all used bookstores. It is literally a warehouse full to the brim of books of all kinds. Their specialty is in Christian books, specifically Christian living. They sell books of all kinds as well. If you're looking for it, the Used Book Warehouse probably has it. One great benefit of shopping at the Used Book Warehouse is that they have places to sit and skim a book before buying and they also encourage you to bring books into the bathroom! In addition, they also buy used books so you can buy even more.
2. The Book Broker - 2717 Covert Ave
Located on the Southeast side of Evansville, this used bookstore is also an excellent choice. The Book Broker specializes in specialty books such as graphic novels, comic books and game manuals but they also sell regular books. If you're looking for a special or rare book, you will probably find it at the Book Broker. One extra benefit of shopping at the Book Broker is that they also sell other kinds of media such as music, movies and video games. The Book Broker is a must for anyone shopping for used media.
3. Book and Music Exchange - 628 East Diamond Avenue and 2409 Washington Avenue
Located on the East and North sides of Evansville, the Book and Music Exchange stores are great sources of used books. Their specialty is primarily fiction but they do also sell nonfiction and hard-to-find books such as game manuals. Book and Music Exchange has great prices and frequent sales that can be hard to resist for the average used book buyer. In addition to books, they Book and Music Exchange also sells music, movies, and games.
As you can see, there are several excellent used bookstores in Evansville, Indiana. They all have their benefits and they all specialize in carrying a particular type of book. I hope that this list has made it easier for your to find the books you are looking for.

Buy the Book
2312 N Lafayette Avenue
just off Diamond Avenue, between Heidelbach and Stringtown. On the same side as Charlie's Mongolian, across (not directly across) Diamond from the Big Lots/Town Center area.
They don't have as huge a selection as the warehouse, but they also trade, and have better pricing (it seemed on the few visits I've made to each).
