(( Travelocity ))
This company has been around since 1996 and has been awarded many different achievements such as Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards, 2006 World Travel Awards, 2008 Innovator of the Year Award. All in all they have received over 40 awards! This is probably one of the better sites for buying airfare tickets for, as far as price goes. But they also have a really user friendly website and excellent customer service.
(( Expedia ))
Expedia Is a great site to go to for THE best car rental prices. There's been many times through out the last few years where Ive needed to rent a car, and they always seem to have the best price for what I want. They have a certain rep with some of the best car rental business in the country. Expedia also has tons of offers all the time either on their site or on other sites.
(( Sitestep ))
Sidestep has always been one of my favorite multi-searching websites. They have an engine that searches some of the best websites and businesses online to find you the best offer. Your options are numerous, from star rating, hotel brand, amenities, property type, so on and so forth. Plus you get to see the different prices for different sites IF you want to, so you don't have to search on 20 different sites for the same info! Some of the optional search options as far as travel sites go, they have most of the ones I'm listing here except for Travel Zoo!
(( Sherman's Travel ))
Although many of the sites have lots of interesting information, Ive always found the photographs and information on Sherman's to be out of this world. I met Jim Sherman a few years back when he was first starting this site up back in 2002. It was pretty simple when it first started out, but the website now is just beautiful.
I just really appreciate all the work Team Sherman has put into the site! Take a look, I'm almost positive you wont be sorry if you visit this website.
(( Side Note ))
If you're looking for airfare and ALL the prices seem REALLY high check back on Tuesdays and Thursdays around midnight. This is usually the times when they change the prices to a lower amount, and then with in a few days they shoot back up again. Its a little secret, Shh! Hope you find what your looking for, and have a really super vacation! Send me a postcard!
