One thing that Americans are known for is their love of food. It is in the American culture because everyone is always busy with work. This results in being forced to eat out since many Americans do not have much time to cook. I find that I often have to eat out because I simply can't find time to make the food I would like to eat. Ruby's is a restaurant that I love because of their large selection. They have a large selection of vegan food and they also have some great meat for anyone else. Their potato salad is chunky and will melt in your mouth. Their macaroni and cheese dish is baked to golden perfection and it is some of the best food I have ever had. They close at 11pm each night and these two dishes cost $5 before tax. This is great food and the service is very friendly. They also have daily lunch specials for $5 per plate and they are located at 512 W 29th St.

Counter Culture is probably the best vegan eatery in Austin, TX on simplicity alone. The most important thing is the food and their sandwich of Garbanzo Tuna is amazing. It is serve on whole wheat bread and comes with lettuce and tomato. You should know that this place only takes cash and be sure to ask for a side of their seasoned veggies. They are located at 120 E N Loop and they closed at 7pm daily.

Cheer Up Charlie's is a vegan restaurant that you must visit if you have the chance. Their coconut drinks are very refreshing and the taste is great. I also love their chicken salad sandwich because it is crunchy and smooth at once. I usually spend $15 here and love their food. They are located at 1104 E 6th St and close at 12am.
