I've been a collector of old school music for as long as I can remember, and I think I have accumulated every song that I wanted to add to my collection, except two. "Send My Baby Back", by Freddie Hughes and "Stevie Wonder's, "12 Year Old Genius". I have them both, but over the years they have taken on some serious wear and tear and I'd like very much to replace them. My son ordered the CD of Stevie Wonder's first album on-line and sent it to me one Mother's day, but the CD does not offer the clarity and pitch that the LP is noted for. I saw Freddie Hughes song on-line once, but they wanted to sell the "45" for $35 so I'm still looking. I recall my initial purchase of the song added up to about $1.00. I might pay $35 for Stevie's album, but I'm very hesitant to spend that much on a single song.
