Best Viral Internet Videos: A Unicorn, Charlie and a Panda

Katie D
YouTube and other video sites opened a whole new world to regular people. Anyone can upload a video they make themselves and share it with the world. Most of the time, these videos are of little interest to anyone but friends and family (and sometimes not even that). Every once in a while, though, those personal videos are funny enough for those friends to forward it along to others. Once it catches another person's attention, it gets forwarded and shared again and again, spreading like wildfire. These viral videos launch everyday people into internet superstardom - and give the rest of us a really good laugh.

These are my top three viral videos of all time. They're rated "G", funny for parents and kids, and show real people at their comic best.

Charlie Bit My Finger - Again

An oldie, but a goodie. This video was uploaded May 22, 2007, and promptly started making the rounds. It's just a home video taken by the mom of two boys. Charlie's the little brother - and he likes to bite. His big brother must not realize it, because he just keeps enticing him with his little fingers. His seriousness combined with Charlie's reaction are priceless.

Another cute kid video - Hahaha. This kid is so adorable, and his laugh is absolutely adorable and hilarious. His dad is making funny noises - and he continues laughing for 1 minute and 40 seconds.

The Sneezing Baby Panda

This YouTube video is even older: The Sneezing Baby Panda made its' debut November 6, 2006. Short and funny (only 16 seconds). The video shows the Pandas in their enclosure at the zoo, and baby Panda scares mommy Panda with a giant sneeze.

Unicorn After Wisdom Teeth

This girl must have gotten some really good drugs to get her wisdom teeth removed! She describes her flight, raps, sings a gospel song and lets everyone know she's just fine post-op. The hilarity continues for a full 2 minutes and 23 seconds while her mom and another person try to communicate with her. If you've ever wondered what you do after you have sedation medication, here is something to ponder!

Just in case you want to see more dental drug-induced hilarity, see David After Dentist. His meds must have worked, too.
