Hypnosis is a process involving a hypnotist and another person to be put in a trance-like state induced by suggestions, usually verbal in nature, beginning with relaxation. It has been widely used for thousands of years and is a scientifically accepted technique to bring accelerated changes in the way you think, feel and act. In these days even health professionals are using hypnosis in their clinical practice to manage weight problems; overcome depression; manage fears, anxiety, and phobias; quit smoking and to be free of physical pain.
When Is Hypnosis Necessary?
Pain is of a signal that your body sends when it is not in its normal state or condition. It is a symptom in many medical conditions. Generally pains like stomachaches, headaches, bruises and sprains just stop without treatment or respond to just taking rest for some time or taking medication like analgesics. But when pain persists, and becomes so intolerable that your daily functions are affected you suffer from what is termed as chronic pain and it is something that should not be ignored. This is where hypnosis can be applied as more people nowadays are turning to alternative means of pain management rather than the conventional medicine and synthetic pain killers. People are now more health conscious as they know that the side effects of these drugs may lead to other health problems. Chronic pain suffered by cancer and arthritic patients is really debilitating and can be controlled through the use of hypnosis.
Pain Management with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
The mind is very powerful. It is divided into the conscious and subconscious, the latter of which is more powerful. NLP is reprogramming the subconscious as most of us have wrong programs in our life. Incorporating hypnosis with NLP is a powerful tool to manage pain especially chronic ones. It is like training the mind to focus on something instead of the pain. For it believes that if you dwell your mind on the things that will hurt you, the pain would not subside. Instead, it will increase its intensity as it is repeated over and over.
Break away from that pain and believe that your body is in perfect accord. Do not forget to breathe and allow your mind to divert that pain away. Let yourself fall into a deep trance where you can keep the disturbing pain out of your head. Book a hypnotherapy session that can change your perception of pain into something that you never have to worry about again. Cast it out and be pain free forever.
