Best Ways to Get More Home Party Bookings

The number one reason people dread home parties is the constant pressure for them to join as consultants. The second reason of course is money! I'm going to show you how you can be more subtle about these two things and you will make more sales and more bookings at your parties!!

Step 1: Set up a small table (like the size of a card table) in a well lit corner of the room you are holding your party in nicely arranged with your best selling products. Make sure that you have some sort of discount on these items, even if it's only 5%! People love discounts!!! You are also more likely to sell products if people can see the quality of them with their own eyes.

Step 2: Giveaway prizes for games (game suggestions below!) People love to play games and they especially love to win prizes, so take advantage of this!! If your company offers samples of their products, use these as the prizes. Or better yet, make up a gift basket of samples and maybe one full size product to give away at the end of the party.

Step 3: Break the Ice!

If you have a lot of guests that don't know each other, the best thing you can do is play a game to break the ice. Make them laugh and they'll all be friends from that point on!

The best game I have found is to give each guest a balloon. At the same time, have them each blow up their balloon, tie it and sit on it. The first one to pop their balloon will win a free gift!

Step 4: Pass around envelopes. Seal however many envelopes you need (1 per guest), inside just one of the envelopes, place a gift certificate (you can easily make one on your computer), even if that gift certificate is for just $5.00 off the recipient will appreciate it and most definitely order!

Step 5: Relax!!! If you are uncomfortable in front of these people, they will sense your tension and therefore be uncomfortable themselves!

I've found many websites offering party game ideas online, but the best I've found is Consultant Moms.com. Below is a few headlines from their game section:

How Well Do You Know Your Hostess?

Early Bird Game

Go ahead and try these steps, you're sure to have more fun at your party and definitely more sales!
