The following websites have detailed information where you can easily find your bank routing number. Some sites will give you a long list of bank names by state you can look through and a few will allow you to choose the bank name and location near you if you have a bank that is small and local to you. As with any website on the internet always check the validity of the site before searching for or providing personal information to make sure the site isn't a scam.
Greg Hatcher Financial Website -
This site is very simple and lists all the banks in the United States by state abbreviation. When you click on the state each bank in it is listed alphabetically and is current and up-to-date. The website is updated weekly with data provided by the Federal Reserve and after checking my bank account routing numbers on the site I found that they were accurate. Recently both banks my husband and I use changed names and the website has both banks new names updated.
Routingnumbers.com is the original website for finding your routing number online and one of the best for finding all the information you need. The site gives you several options when trying to find a routing number or a bank associated with the number. You can use the search bars to find all routing numbers associated with a certain bank like Chase Bank or Citi Bank, find a bank name based on the routing number or click on the state codes to find a list of banks and routing numbers in that state. This site is also updated weekly with data from the Federal Reserve.
This is another basic website that allows the user to search for a routing number. You can search based on the banks name or a search through the state codes to locate a bank and the numbers associated with it. This site is helpful if you aren't sure of the banks name or only have a partial bank name, such as Sun from SunTrust Bank or Fargo from Wells Fargo, you won't have to enter the entire name like the other sites. This site is also updated weekly with data from the Federal Reserve.
