Best Websites to Visit when You Are Bored
Here is a List of Some of the Coolest Websites to Visit when You Have Some Time to Kill
The first, and most obvious is youtube.com. But you may be wondering about some of the best things to search while on youtube. Here are some tips: classic t.v (like chips, fraggle rock, commercials, and transformer), music videos(this depends on what you like, but almost every hairmetal video is on youtube), how-to's(how to make wine, fuses, and robots just to name a few), and ghosts caught on tape. You can also search videos through Google and get videos from other sites also.
Strange facts sites are always fun. strangefacts.com, strangefacts.net, www.robinsweb.com/humor/strange_things.html, and strange-facts.com. Something that goes hand-in-hand with this would be disgusting facts: www.agonys.com, funnyfact.com/nastyfacts.shtml, and blighty.multiply.com/market/item/10./Really_Gross_Facts. Of course you must keep in mind the validity of these sites, but they are really fun.
Another fun thing to do is search your home town on the web. You can do it through google, googlenews, and through googlephotos. chances are you will find something out there, even if you are from a small town like myself. you can also check facts about your town and surrounding towns on www.city-data.com. This site compiles census data so you can check out: population, growth, jobs, crime, and etc. It is also a great source for those of you that are thinking of moving to a new town.
Here are some other things I waist my time with on the net. These are things that I find interesting, but may not be for everyone. searching how to's, searching flight prices (its nice to dream), searching famous quotes (or funny quotes), finding new places to camp or eat, or look up recipes. I also like to smoke so it is fun to search for pipes, hookah pipes, and cigars. It is easy to get lost in shopping sites such as ebay.com and amazon.com. I'm a musician, so it is also fun to look up music lessons, gear information, and tutorials.
I hope this helps you out there pass time without the added stress of "what do I do now?" Feel free to add your suggestions in comments, and happy surfing!
