One of the best websites out there for working moms is called "Mommy Tracked." It is located at: http://www.mommytracked.com/ I like this site because it offers a lot of helpful basics to working moms, like the toolkit. You can print all type of printable sheets to keep you organized. The site also has a variety of featured columnists which include moms from all different sectors of the working world. I love the selection and different opinions each columnist offers. One of my favorite columnists is Risa Green. She never fails to make me laugh with her takes on everything from pregnancy to current events like TSA scanning processes. With the variety of authors on this site, you are sure to find a mommy columnist you can relate to! The site also features message boards, reading suggestions, celebrity working mom news and much more.
Another community I really like is called "Work it Mom.". It is located at: http://www.workitmom.com/ The "Work It Mom" site is a favorite of mine because it is a real community. With message boards and the chance to create your own blog, you can really express yourself and connect with other moms. I often ask some parenting questions of these women, and they have given me some great advice!
The last site I often visit is "Working Mother Magazine." It is located at: http://www.workingmother.com I get the in print edition of the magazine, but enjoy reading some of the extra content on the website. I find their article very inspiring and I love reading about women who have found balance in their homes and their jobs. The website also features creative activities, recipes and parenting ideas. These ideas help me to create really special activities and fun ways to connect with my children.
I hope you enjoy these three websites and that you are able to find value in them. If nothing else, they will remind you that many other women are exhausted and trying to balance it all. Sometimes there is comfort in knowing you are not alone!
