Best Western Atrium Gardens in Elizabethtown, Kentucky

The Best Affordable Hotel I Ever Stayed In

My spouse and I spent a lot of time on the road after my father passed away. We spent many nights in different hotels as we traveled making our way to the South. Each time, being on a budget, we would seek out the best hotel that our money could buy, and we were fortunate that we found some that were descent. In our stays across the states, there is only a few that really stand out for the quality and service, and one that was truly memorable. The hotel that really impressed us was the Best Western Atrium Gardens, located at 1043 Executive Drive, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

The room we had at this Best Western Atrium Gardens was very clean and spacious, with two queen beds, armoire, mini refrigerator, microwave, and desk. The desk was well stocked with paper and pens for anyone who wanted to write a letter or send a post card. The amenities that they offer to their guests are a free complimentary breakfast, HBO, swimming pool, fitness center, guest laundry, hair dryers, and high speed Internet. The staff was very pleasant, and accommodating with our wants and needs. There is a local restaurant within walking distance for dinner or lunch which serves up great southern food, where we had the best fried chicken for dinner, and the tastiest biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The price for this clean, friendly staffed hotel was only $59.00 for a night making this hotel, very wallet friendly.

This hotel offers smoking and non smoking rooms for their guests, which sit apart from each other to accommodate, and respect their guests preferences. The vending machines were well stocked with microwavable popcorn, chips, candy and pop for their guests enjoyment. They do allow pets for an additional $25 non refundable pet fee, for travelers who love to take their little friends along their travels. The parking lot is well lit, with enough spaces for travelers with trailers, and for the handicapped.

The Best Western Atrium Gardens is a very wallet friendly hotel which offers nothing but the best for their guests to enjoy a nice quiet nights stay. There is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area for tourists like the Coca Cola Museum, the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, Kentucky Railway Museum, and the Jim Beam Distillery Center. It may not be a five star hotel, but I do give it five stars for the price, service, and my satisfaction.
