The Top 5 Female Tennis Players of All Time

Stacy Hensley
There are a lot of great female tennis players. Condensing these into a list of the top 5 was not an easy thing to do. I studied the records, the stats, and the impact that each woman has had on the history of women's tennis and came up with this list.

.Best Women's Tennis Player #5- Serena Williams
Serena Williams is currently ranked 2nd, according to the Women's Tennis Association. Since her professional debut in 1995, Serena has had some amazing matches. Many of the more memorable matches have been against her sister, Venus Williams. Serena leads the head-to-head series with her sister by only one match (11-10).

This list is dumb. Billie Jean King and Chris Evert wouldn't last a minute against the current competition today. . .Navratilova might. But, Serena should be #1. Todays tennis has the highest level of competition in its history, and she is still dominating the competition.

Where is Margaret Court??? How can you put Serena ahead of her? She has won the most grand titles in both mens and womens, its a disgrace to not have her on the list. She should be in the top 3 AT LEAST. Serena shouldnt be on the list. Shes in the top 15, but not in the top 5.

Interesting picks. Not that you are right or wrong, but did you consider Billie Jean King?
