Last week, I purchased a container of Betty Crocker Cornbread & Muffin Mix for the first time. Normally, when I purchase cornbread mix, I buy another brand of mix, but the front label on this product is so appealing that I just had to purchase one package.
After preparing and eating cornbread made from this mix, I realized that it would be a good product to review. Presented here, as a service to the consumer at large, is an article which reviews and examines Betty Crocker Cornbread & Muffin Mix.

The net weight of the standard sized package of Betty Crocker Cornbread & Muffin Mix is 6.5 ounces (184 grams). The package contains six 3 tablespoon (31 grams) servings, which produces roughly six good sized cornbread muffins or pieces of cornbread.
Price
The regular retail price charged for one 6.5 ounce package of Betty Crocker Cornbread & Muffin Mix at Hartford, Connecticut area supermarkets ranges between $0.59 and $0.99. This price seems very reasonable to me.
Texture
This excellent cornbread and muffin mix offers a very pleasant and agreeable texture. The cornbread and muffins produced by this mix are classic style cornbread. I noticed that the cornbread made by this mix is not as loosely textured and crumbly as some other brands of cornbread mix.
