Blueberry muffins are such a great item to eat at anytime of the day or night. Recently, I have prepared and eaten muffins (and a cake) made with Betty Crocker Pouch Blueberry Muffin Mix and I have been very impressed with the item. Not only does this mix produce delicious treats, but it is also reasonably priced and requires the addition of only water to prepare.
Presented here, in an effort to assist the consumer, is an article which reviews and examines Betty Crocker Pouch Blueberry Muffin Mix.
Size
The net weight of the standard sized package of Betty Crocker Pouch Blueberry Muffin Mix is 6.5 ounces (184 grams). According to the pouch's nutrition facts label, the package holds six 30 gram servings.
So far, I have utilized this muffin mix twice. The first time, I made six muffins with the mix and the second time I poured the batter into a 9" baking pan and made a thin blueberry cake, of sorts.
In physical size, the pouch measures roughly 7.5" x 5".
Price
The regular retail price charged for one 6.5 ounce Betty Crocker Pouch Blueberry Muffin Mix at Hartford, Connecticut food retailers varies.
At many supermarkets, the regular price is approximately $1.29 - $1.39 and at my neighborhood Walgreens Pharmacy, the regular retail price charged for one package is approximately $1.49.
Texture / Consistency
When prepared and baked according to package directions, the blueberry muffins made from Betty Crocker Pouch Blueberry Muffin Mix feature a fairly moist and pleasing texture.
The cake part of the muffin is pretty dense and does not leave behind a trail of crumbs when it is bitten into. There are quite a few blueberries in these muffins, but they are pretty small. The overall mouth feel offered by these muffins (and blueberry cake) is satisfying and impressive, especially when one takes into consideration the fact that only water is added to the mix, to create blueberry muffins.

Taste / Flavor
Before I prepared and baked muffins (and a cake) made with Betty Crocker Pouch Blueberry Muffin Mix, I wondered how good the muffins would taste, considering that only water was needed to prepare the batter.
The mix produces very tasty muffins, which are not overly sweet. Just the right amount of blueberries, not too many and not too few, are present in the mix and they taste real.
On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign this product a rating of 9.50.
