Betty White Becomes Focus of Latest Internet Sex Rumor

Former star of the Golden Girls was probably one of the last celebrities we would have expected to be in the middle of an x-rated scandal, however; several photos of the actress having sex with her late husband have been reported to be up for sale recently. The photos were supposedly found left in a box in a house that she once owned. The current owners are no doubt counting on the recent death of her Golden Girls co-star Rue Mclanahan to boost the sale price because media attention has been on the last surviving star of the show.

As a fellow writer pointed out in their article"Kendra Wilkinson Sex Tape Scandal: The Next in a Long List of Celebrities", it was not much of a surprise that a tape of this nature would surface with a former Playboy Playmate as the main attraction. There are many actresses who have achieved some fame only to have their former private moments made public. Jennifer Lopez, Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and even country star, Mindy McReady have been laid bare on video that was initially shot for personal reasons.

While we wouldn't have expected erotic photos of Betty White to be made public, the actress apparently had no qualms about posing for nude photos in the past. In the 40's, while still a struggling actress, Betty posed topless for a non-pornographic deck of playing cards and was featured on the nine of hearts. The now 88 year old actress came clean about the photos on NBC's Late Night with David Letterman in 1986.

Truth or rumor, the reported existence of nude photos of the actress can't negate her prolific and award-winning career or her philanthropic efforts. Over the course of her acting career, Betty White has won six Emmy Awards and received 18 Emmy nominations. In May 2010 she became the oldest person to guest-host Saturday Night Live. We all probably know her best as the slightly kooky Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls, but White has done almost everything from game shows to talk shows, television to movies. She has been honored for her charitable work with animals. White has been involved with the Morris Animal Foundation and the L.A. Zoo for 42 years. She is reported to love working with animals.

Time will tell if the rumors of these photos with her deceased husband Allen Ludden are indeed true. However, the existence of such photos shouldn't tarnish the stellar career and life of this famous actress.
