Beverly Hills 90210: Version 2.0

Ok so if you are in my generation you remember growing up to Brenda and Brandon Walsh whining and being overly good and bad in Beverly Hills 90210. And if the years and years of the original wasn't enough of Kelly and Brenda fighting over Dylan, now we have guess what Kelly and Brenda fighting over Dylan? Really, are remakes of old evening soaps all we can find to put on TV?

I decided I need to check out the new version of Beverly Hills 90210, and of course it really follows the same theory as the last, except in our drama numb society they have to turn it up even more to add the right spice to yet another in many annoying soaps like The Hills and Gossip Girls. Although most of the stories are not truly original in the new Beverly Hills 90210 it was going along as mediocre entertainment until yet again we have Brenda and Kelly fighting over Dylan, and of course Kelly gets on her self-righteous horse, and Brenda becomes devious.

The only perks really on the shows is that if you wanted to see where the story went with the old characters you will no doubt be given a hint of every one of the old characters as time goes on. While hopefully dragging you under the spell of the new teenagers that are yet again sleeping around, whining and creating no educational value whatsoever.

My only hope will be that as Beverly Hills 90210 continues that the old characters do not fall into the same old patterns while the new characters do the same. What worries me most is that so many shows have fallen into this genre, and really are only showing kids and teens on how to behave badly. However it will likely become excessively popular like many other evening drama shows because it meets a lot of peoples fix for drama that is not their own.
