Beware of the Kobe Monster|Crucial Game-6 of the NBA Finals

A Must Win Game Tonight for Kobe and the Team

Jay-Jamar
Being back at home should take some of the heat off of L.A. tonight. Despite winning most of their games where they have won the first game in the series, the Lakers still look a bit shaken with the action to take place tonight. A remnant of game-6 still has its presence throughout the ora of the whole team, that resonates-even through the television set. Sure the Lakers have overcome many odds and obstacles before in the past, and those experiences have molded them into the championship minded team that they are now. However, their most notorious rivals-The Boston Celtics-also show that they can persevere and that they too have some of that championship experience. In fact more than any other team, after the Lakers. Therefore, this could be considered the most fitting match-up, and the best team for the job. The rivalry between these two power-house teams dates back to 1959 with their first introductions to one another in the finals. Boston would claim victory over that series and continue to defend their championship status for eight more rematches. Then again in 2008, as they have seemed to come full circle here in 2010..

Boston seems in sync. They run with the notion of a togetherness that is truly genuine. This is manifested off of the court with clips and footage you can catch of them totally comfortable with each other and socializing like a tightly-knit family. Rondo may be cracking jokes on someone from afar, while Paul Pierce is entertaining the pact with his rendition of the robot. The energy is felt by fans and opposites alike when they are on the court. It is a love and joy they bring to fans. Kevin Garnet will often get the crowds juices going with a wave of his arms and his passionate interaction with the crowd. Followed up with the roar and wild charging in excitement, of Big Baby about the court. The fans feed off of the players theatrics unlike no other. Even when that passion gets out of control and players engage in physical squabbles. After officiating staff enforce appropriate calls, the attention is re focused on the fans by their beloved Celtics.

This is what has to happen for L.A. in these up and coming games. Team Work, and Fan Support. Of course the Laker's ultimate fan will be there, and he is counting on their win, for only then will he have a chance of getting a Championship Ring too. www.givejackaring.com. Kobe Bryant gives tremendous effort on the court. The stats prove it. However, what it also proves is that his teammates aren't that much involved. As many basketball movies of yore have delivered the same message; "There is no I in Team". This Laker franchise is well aware of that too. So how come they are playing like amateurs? Let's briefly start with Kobe. Every game that Kobe scored over 30 points resulted in a loss for the team. What tale does this tell. When Kobe has the weight of the team on his back, he gets into super game mode. Very focused and accomplished he becomes making sensational and seemingly impossible shots. This however makes the rest of the team begin to rely on him, resulting in things like over dribbling, shot clock violations, forced shot and ill-advised ones, as well as arguments amongst one another.

Players like Ron Artest and Derrick Fisher need to step it up and take those shots instead of looking for Kobe and causing a turnover. Good ball movement, not overcompensation! Lamar Odom can also stop acting shy until it is too late and play like he knows how to play. Bynum should be featured more and Gasol just needs to be Gasol. They have to overcome this fantastic thing called "The Run", that Boston possesses right now.

Must win Game-6 for the Laker tonight. What's in store for the Staple Center?
