Beyonce and Jay-Z: Marriage License Obtained: Wedding Bells Ahead ?

In Scarsdale Village, NY on 4/1/08 Beyonce and Jay-Z obtained a marriage license that is valid for 60 days. They have been dating since 2002 and both have stated in interviews that marriage is a goal. Beyonce is age 26 and Jay-Z is 38.

Beyonce has talked about having to wait for your man to be ready for marriage in interviews. It seems her patience has paid off and a marriage is looming. Beyonce once told the talk host Ellen DeGeneres "One day I hope to be married and have children." Jay -Z stated in an interview that he'd like a family like his buddy from Coldplay Chris Martin.

So it looks like Beyonce's days of singing Irreplaceable are over. She won't be wailing: "I could have another you by tomorrow" anymore.
