Beyonce-Past, Present and Future

It's easy to see why Beyonce sells so many albums. Every young girl wants to be her, every young boy wants to get his girlfriend a Beyonce album so he can be with his girlfriend while thinking about Beyonce, which is exactly what these hot and sexy starlets are supposed to do. That is, appealing to both genders. One gender genuinely admires Beyonce, the other gender genuinely admires Beyonce's talent. Both genders buy her albums, and that is, of course, the entire point.

The appeal of an artist like Beyonce for the male gender is easy to understand. She's hot. She's sexy. She sings or something. And she's hot. And sexy. And she was in that movie where she was in that outfit. It was hot. And sexy. The appeal for girls doesn't fall far from this same formula. Hot. Sexy. Hot and sexy. Even girls are into Beyonce, even if they won't admit it. Which is the reason the young boy gets the young girl the hot, sexy Beyonce album in hopes that the young girl will be so enraptured by the afore mentioned hot and sexy Beyonce that she will get hot and sexy with anyone, even a guy whose best shot at third base is buying the young girl a Beyonce album. The mp3s are free, Don Juan.

But the real question here is what kind of staying power does Beyonce have? Being hot and sexy isn't a career for very long and at some point she will no longer have the power to draw the crowds she currently does, simply by shaking and grinding her incredibly hot, sexy Beyonce stuff at any camera or cameraman that's turned on. Or camera women, even females are not immune to Beyonce. The combination of talent, hotness, sexyness, and marketing skill is likely to keep Beyonce on top for some time to come.

While traditionally female performers have done poorly once they begin to age and no longer have the figure of a twenty something, the major exception to this rule is soul singers. Women with talent, real talent, are timeless, and their careers can span many decades with a little marketing savvy and some hot, sexy backup singers. With Beyonce's tremendous following and her abundant talent, it is plain to see that she stands a better than average chance of remaining in the limelight for many years to come.

Which brings up the question of just how hot and sexy an older Beyonce might be. Hot and sexy, after all, are subjective terms, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. After all, she is still very young now, and there is no reason to expect her to get any less hot and sexy any time soon.
