Beyonce's Deluxe Edition/ Anthology Video Album - is it a Hit or Too Much?

Many critics are saying than since Beyonce did not win any awards for her acting in Dream girls that she needed something to put herself back in the limelight once again. Of course fans feel that she never left the spotlight and that just because she did not win anything for her movie that she is still a great performer, and very talented women. Recently however on April 3, 2007 Beyonce re-release a deluxe edition of her "B-Day" album. Included in this album are a few new tracks such as beautiful Liar which features Shakira. She also has included some Spanish language versions of three of her songs. In addition to all of this she also has released several full length videos to help promote her Anthology Video Album.

Beyonce is the first artist to ever record so many videos for one album, so she has definitely made history. If you visit Beyonce's official website then you can look at all of the videos in their entirety on the website. After promoting her album's re- release and filming all of those videos you are probably thinking that she is ready for a break or a vacation. Obviously Ms. Beyonce thinks a lot differently. She has been known to be a workaholic and that definitely seems to be true. Starting this spring her Beyonce Experience tour which has been sold out all over the world will begin. Many of her fans are hoping that by the end of the summer when her tour is over she will be able to get some well needed and well deserved rest.

When it comes to her video album and however most fans agree that it is definitely a hit, and well worth the effort that she put into it. There are always critics though who feel that she went a bit overboard with the videos. Some critics also do not like the way that many of the ideas for the videos were copied from some older videos from other artists. I think that the critics and possible some fans would have like to see something a little more original for all of her videos. One group that really does not seem to like her is the animal rights groups, who dislike the use of fur in her clothing line, and her posing in a photo shoot with some baby animals. Beyonce has made no comment on these allegations, and just seems to consider her music her main priority.
